You can see the artful interiors of 3813 W. 5th St. during the AIA Fort Worth 2015 Tour of Homes.

Sure, Fort Worth has a treasure trove of Craftsman architecture on display during the Fairmount Historic District Tour of Homes, but did you know that this city is flush with stunning modern treasures that will knock your socks off? It’s true, and you can peruse them during this year’s AIA Fort Worth Homes Tour April 25-26 from noon to 6 p.m.

“Each home on the tour was chosen to highlight an architectural vision in response to the needs of the homeowners,” the announcement stated. “Encompassing new construction, renovation, and preservation projects, the homes represent the timeless principles, skills and knowledge that an AIA architect can bring to the project.”

Featured projects include a new build at 3813 W. 5th St. by Norman D. Ward, a glass and stucco box at 2321 Ryan Ave. by Philip Newburn Architecture a historic renovation and update at 2924 Alton Road by Tom Holifield, A beautiful midcentury modern at 4032 Eldridge by Konstrukcio Studio, a modern take on Arts & Crafts lines at 3928 Bishop Flowers by Cornerstone Design Build, and a Hill Country Contemporary at 575 Quail Ridge by Richard Wintersole.

You can buy tickets for $20 in advance, $25 on the day of the tour, or you can opt for a single-home pass for $10.
