We will take time to remember the love and generosity of Ebby Halliday Acers on Thursday, September 17, at 3pm at Park Cities Baptist Church. I’m sure the sanctuary will be loaded, and parking difficult so you might consider taking a taxi. Here is an old picture of me with Ebby when she won the Linz award. I look awful, Ebby looks fantastic!
I like the article that Inman did on Ebby, though it was short. According to Real Trends, Ebby Halliday is the 12th largest independent brokerage in the United States, in terms of transactions (almost 20,000!).
And I’ll never forget the day I spent with Ebby for D Magazine... I was ready for a nap, she was off to a Maverick’s game.
There are a lot of plans in place for her memorial, which so appropriately takes place on North Texas Giving Day, to honor the woman who gave us so much. We will keep you posted.
