5303 Denton Drive is currently listed for $439,500 by Jake Kronshage of Modtown Realty. Open House, Sunday, Nov. 4, 2-4 p.m.

See what neighborhood – and fabulous Tudor – agent Jake Kronshage of Modtown Realty says is an undiscovered gem perfect for future growth! The 1940s Dallas Tudor on Denton Drive just hit the market with its original hardwoods, chimney stack, windows, and door handles, but with a handful of tasteful updates that bring it into modern day. The price? Just right at $439,500. Let’s take a closer look and see what makes this Friday Four Hundred the perfect pick.

For Jake, it’s all about location, location, location.

“The large yard with multiple outdoor seating and living areas, the seamless mix of today’s modern living and yesterday’s classic Tudor style, plus access to Parkland and the highways are top-selling points,” he says.

The three-bedroom, two-full-bathroom Tudor sits on a spacious 9,104-square-foot lot that is primed for backyard barbecues and memorable family get-togethers. Inside, it affords a light and bright 1,716-square-foot interior that is as welcoming as it is unique.

Here you’ll enjoy all the original Tudor touches, such as original hardwood floors, original wood-burning brick chimney stack, original windows and door handles, and even an original carriage shed that has been restored for ease of use. We’re seeing she shed in this home’s future.

And just look at that kitchen! Charming right? But can you spot what’s missing?

Jake tells us the stove and dishwasher didn’t make it to the photoshoot because they are on backorder. And those walls? Yep, you guessed it: Shiplap! Jake says the shiplap was from a previous project the owner did. “The contractor likes to try and keep special parts of the original home and bring them back to life for the new owner. If there are things that cannot work for one house he will save what he can and try and use them on other projects,” he adds.

So which master craftsman had a hand in the restoration? Enter contractor, Ben Pospisil. Born and raised in San Diego, Pospisil moved to Nashville in 2010 and soon after he began to combine his skill set as a contractor with his passion for real estate. Multiple flips and multiple property rentals later, Ben moved to Dallas at the top of 2017 to be with his now fiancé and to try out the Dallas market. With an eye to see the utmost potential in any property, and with the skill set to know how to see it to fruition, the Tudor on Denton is now Ben’s most recent Dallas flip — and he is just getting started.

On top of the fabulous renovations, effortless layout, and high-end finishes, you get an Oak Lawn Heights address! “This neighborhood and house are perfect for young professionals and first-time home buyers,” says Jake. “This house is still close to the hustle and bustle of the city, but sits within a quite undiscovered neighborhood.”
