This is what’s left of Joseph Hewey’s house. Joseph is an agent with William Davis Realty in Uptown.

“Homeless in a matter of minutes” he wrote on FaceBook, then later this note:

Thank you all for your prayers and post so glad me chris, and or dog abby is ok rain would not us get to the house today and not much to salvage just feel so helpless. Thank you Rick Davis for taking us shopping so we had more than the close on our back and to Melanee Akens for letting us crash at her house, picking us up and helping our neighbors get out of the rubble.

A Go Fund Me fund has been started for Joseph, and also for JP & Associates agent Justin Blackburn, whose home looks like this (here is Justin’s website):

Justin-Blackburn

Please try and help these fine agents rebuild their homes and get their lives back together, along with the others whose homes have been turned upside down by this storm.
