Bright Realty received approval in late February to build out the Crown Centre mixed-use development in the Castle Hills community.

Crown Centre, which will sit on 140 acres at the southwest corner of State Highway 121 business road and the State Highway 121 frontage road, will have up to 2,000 multi-family units, up to 500 hotel rooms, and up to 140,000 square feet of non-residential commercial uses.

The development will also include up to 3 million square feet of office space, featuring modern, open floor plans with flexible spaces and a loft-style feel. The first four-story, Class A office building with 109,000 rentable square feet is currently under construction, expected to be completed during the summer.

Amenities will include three open outdoor spaces for lakes and trails.

The 140-acre property for this development is the only remaining undeveloped land in the Castle Hills community, according to a news release from Bright Realty.

Other developments in the Castle Hills community include the Realm at Castle Hills, Castle Hills Village Shops, Enchanted Hill, and the Lakes at Castle Hill — all under Bright Realty.

Cottages at the Realm is an upscale gated community that offers three- and four-bedroom rental homes between 1,844 to 2,777 square feet. Valor at the Realm, which is planned to arrive at the end of the year, will have 200 luxury apartments.

Castle Hills Village Shops currently has more than 40 tenants ranging from shopping and dining to dental and doctor offices.
