Chris Bosh Is Now Selling the Ritz Condo He Bought from Jaap Van Sweden & Michael Guttman

GetMediaRemember back when Miami Heat’s Chris Bosh bought a 4,257 square foot unit at the Residences at the Ritz Carlton I? Not only was it owned by Dallas Symphony Orchestra Maestro Jaap Van Zweden AND violinist Michael Guttman, it was so unlike the ultra modern pad he and his wife, Adrienne Williams, had in Miami — an ultramodern compound in South Beach and then a Pacific Palisades party palace.

Chris-and-Adrienne-Bosh

The 29 year olds (who might be touching all of 30 now, actually) have strong Dallas roots: Bosh starred at Lincoln High School in Dallas and later attended Georgia Tech before being selected fourth overall in the 2003 NBA Draft by the Toronto Raptors. An eight-time All-Star, Bosh joined the Miami Heat in 2010. He has won back-to-back championships playing alongside LeBron James and Dwyane Wade.

Then too, his wife, Adrienne Williams, may have some Dallas connections, I hear. Williams had some scuttlebutt about a year ago when rapper Lil Wayne blasted her publicly, in front of an audience, saying he’d had sexual relations with her before Williams married her Miami Heat power forward in 2011.

So big deal, right? She wasn’t married then. And the rapper was ticked off that he’d been kicked out of a game. Blabbermouth. Anyhoo, the couple now have two children, seem happy. Who wouldn’t be happy at the Ritz?

You will recall that the couple bought  three bedroom floorplan with two and a half baths, over at the Ritz Carlton. This is the striking Jaap Unit 1102 with the usual floor-to-ceiling glass, three stone fireplaces — my my they will be warm over there this week — hardwood and marble flooring. There is a study, media room and a master suite with a palatial spa bath. Then there is the open kitchen, den and living room area overlooking beautiful Dallas skyline. It looks like they bought almost all of the furniture from Jaap, which makes sense if their last pad was super modern.

Well now Sharon Quist of Dave Perry-Miller has it on the market (AGAIN!) for $3,900,000. Bosh bought it from Jaap and Guttman for $3 million even Stephen. Went on the market November 3. Which means they’ve lived in it for less than a year.

Can real estate ever be like marriage? If you are in it for less than a year, can you just have it annulled? What if you never even slept in the house?GetMedia-1 GetMedia-2 GetMedia-3 GetMedia-4 GetMedia-5 GetMedia-6 GetMedia-7 GetMedia-8 GetMedia-9 GetMedia-10
