Former Dallas Cowboys running back #22 Emmitt Smith has listed his Addison home for, you guessed it, $2.2 million. To sweeten the deal, Douglas Elliman listing agent Arthur Greenstein says Smith will buy dinner for the lucky so and so who purchases the home.
The home at 15001 Winnwood Rd. was built in 1995 with five bedrooms, five full baths, four half baths, two offices, and a four-car garage plus a covered carport. Greenstein last listed the 10,806-square-foot home in August 2019 for $2.5 million. The home near Preston and Belt Line roads sits on just shy of 1 acre.

Smith famously built the home as a single man with his future wife and family in mind. In 2000, he married Pat, a former Miss Virginia and runner-up to Miss USA 1994. They announced their separation last year after 20 years of marriage and have three children together. His namesake Emmitt “EJ” Smith, IV began his second year at Stanford after graduating Jesuit Dallas as a star athlete.

Smith later founded E Smith Legacy, a commercial real estate holding company that pursues and consults on infrastructure development projects in under-represented communities. Smith, who played 15 seasons in the NFL with the Dallas Cowboys and the Arizona Cardinals, is the NFL’s all-time leading rusher. Still! He retired from the NFL in 2004! In 2005, he was inducted into the Dallas Cowboys Ring of Honor with his Cowboy brothers Troy Aikman and Michael Irvin, who together were nicknamed the Triplets. In 2005, he was inducted into the prestigious Pro Football Hall of Fame.
