Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty Shakes Up More Than Its New Offices

Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty recently opened new Fort Worth digs on Camp Bowie Boulevard.

In life — and in business — a change of scenery can really change your perspective.

That’s why Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty has been shaking things up and moving some of its offices. In April, it relocated to a spectacular new space in Fort Worth, along the brick-paved — and beloved — part of Camp Bowie Boulevard.

The new street-level digs are much more accessible for the brokerage’s agents, who are always on the go. It’s got open spaces, an integrated training room, a café, and even a patio for al-fresco brainstorming. We highly recommend a look at it, at 4828 Camp Bowie Boulevard. (Fun fact: The space was once Kay’s Hallmark Shop — and now owner Kay Orth is an agent at Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty!)

In January, the luxury brokerage opened a relocated office in Plano, now in the busy Shops at Legacy. Here, too, they created a ground-floor haven for their agents, with a dynamic floor plan that fosters much more interaction. And, being along those bustling sidewalks means those hardworking agents are more visible than ever. It’s a beauty, at 7301 Lone Star Drive, Suite A-115.

The brokerage cut the ribbon on its new flagship office at 3131 Turtle Creek last year.

In late December 2019, just in time for its 60th birthday in 2020, Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty cut the ribbons on a new flagship office in Dallas — two full floors of the glassy midcentury office tower at 3131 Turtle Creek, with flowing spaces, lots of glass-walled meeting areas and a lounge that has become a hub of activity. (We think the NASA-like coffee machine may have something to do with that.)

That new locale fosters more collaboration than ever before, reports the brokerage, and that is by design. Wide-open spaces. Glass walls. Workstations that adapt to agent preferences. CEO Robbie Briggs, president Russ Anderson, and the whole team really thought about how agents work now, and what they need.

That large, light-filled lounge acts as a communal kitchen and an accidental meeting room. It’s got comfy sofas, docking stations, and even a game table. Agents are naturally gathering there — and that’s where some real deals can happen. They’re doing the same around their airy new desks, and in their big, bright training room — a place where they are gathering for new classes on digital marketing, social media and much more.

But, Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty hasn’t just shaken up its offices: It has shaken up its training and tech, too. They’ve improved their digital platforms so that it’s even easier for their agents to get to everything they need, anytime — from contracts to marketing materials to customer-relationship management. And, they’ve got fresh new courses to take, online and in-person.

(The word is getting out about all this: Agents, both new and seasoned, are coming on board, regularly. Are you one? Do you know of a great one? Check out briggsfreeman.com/join-us.)

These special technologies — for the firm’s agents and its clients — have changed a lot of how it does business, and the new offices reflect those new ways of working. They’re more open, more interactive, and more efficiently sized. Big, bright TV screens beam all kinds of helpful messages and reminders, plus beautiful properties for sale from across the Sotheby’s International Realty network. There are friendly staffers to greet everyone and to help with all kinds of needs.

But, no matter which office they’re based in — Fort Worth, Plano, Dallas, Southlake, Lakewood or the Ranch and Land division — the agents of Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty are its best feature, by far. No fancy TVs or game tables come close to the magic they make, every day — no matter if they’re working from a fun office, their own home or anywhere in between.
