[Editor’s Note: It’s that time of year that we look back at some of the most popular real estate stories on the blog, and among our regular Friday featured properties, this fabulous Disney streets midcentury modern Karen Eubank wrote about in March got the most shares. Enjoy, and Happy New Year to you, our readers!]

Hi ho, hi ho, it’s off to buy we go!

Head to the very center of the Disney streets neighborhood in Midway Hills and you’ll find this sweet 1957 midcentury modern home at 11136 Dwarfs Circle. We’re pretty sure this one would have Snow White seriously considering ditching the castle. She’ll probably bring the prince with her, though.

After hitting the market only 11 days ago, it was already under option, which is not surprising considering the lightening speed at which Richard Graziano of Allie Beth Allman sells houses. This 2,414-square-foot, four-bedroom, three-bathroom gem is a bargain at $550,000 because every single thing you would think to do to it, has already been done — and done extremely well.

The exterior is a clean-lined blend of white rock and natural wood, with a secluded inner courtyard you don’t notice until you’re at the opaque glass front door.

The primary yellow, deep navy, and bright white entry sets the tone for what you’ll see throughout the house — bold, sleek simplicity, and a clever sense of humor. Vaulted ceilings, bamboo floors and all that natural light? There’s not a thing we’d change.

GetMedia-6.ashx_-1024x768The living room is divided by one wall from the open-plan dining and kitchen area, just enough to feel separate and also a part of the action. That kitchen is a dream of Danish modern sophistication. Blond wood cabinetry and brushed aluminum surfaces to match the appliances are simply inspired design. It’s a perfect party house with an ease of flow from inside out.

Turn a corner to the master suite with a full wall of floor-to-ceiling windows with magnificent angles above. Pocket doors lead into the master bathroom where you’ll find a massive shower with a skylight, and of course a Snow White-worthy mirror on the wall. You can try on tiaras and ballgowns all day in the 11 x 12 closet with another floor-to-ceiling wall of windows.

GetMedia-17.ashx_-1024x768Remember we mentioned the words “perfect party house,” because you can throw open the doors and ease right out onto the beautiful bright blue deck or take a dip in a pool any princess would love.

Could you be happily ever after here?
