Award Season Is Not Just for Hollywood as Dave Perry-Miller Real Estate Celebrates Its Own Stars

In Hollywood, late winter is a busy time of year. For several weeks, the Academy Awards, the Golden Globes, Screen Actors Guild, and other organizations dominate the airwaves and celebrity news with their rankings of actors, actresses, and other supporting roles. Invitations to the after-parties are always highly coveted, providing a rare opportunity to rub shoulders with other respected industry associates you never get to see unless you are cast in the same movie or show.

And in residential real estate, it’s also a busy time. Local brokerages are crunching year-end numbers, compiling their own lists of who’s who, and preparing for a relatively scaled-down – but still upscale – version of the after-party.

The awards show took place at the new Village Country Club in Dallas

Dave Perry-Miller Real Estate recently completed its own award show season, culminating in an in-person celebration that was equal parts glamorous and spectacular. Associates, leadership, and office staff gathered at the new, ultra-swanky Village Country Club to toast 2022 and celebrate individual and collective successes.

[And note, this was not the Village Country Club of your young adult years in the ‘70s, ‘80s, and ‘90s. In case you have not been by recently, a major three-year construction project has transformed the nostalgic location into a venue worthy of hosting the Cattle Baron’s Ball 2023 Reveal Party just days prior to this one.]

In addition to the top producing agents/group by volume, the company also announced winners by office – DPMRE has four locations in Park Cities, Preston Center, InTown, and East Dallas – in the categories of Top Gross Commission Income and Units Sold and Rising Star (rookies). A segment of the awards show was also dedicated to highlighting agents who referred business to EHC’s affiliate companies, Prosperity Home Mortgage, HSTX Title/Texas Premier Title, and HomeServices Insurance.

Carolyn Rosson

Carolyn Rosson, president of DPMRE’s parent company Ebby Halliday Companies, opened the ceremony with her remarks.

Chris Kelly

“As we headed into 2022, most of us hoped for a return to normalcy,” Rosson said. “But by the end of January, it was clear that many challenges remained in the residential real estate market. Challenges or not, all of you continued to outperform the market and set new standards for our industry.”

Chris Kelly, CEO of the Ebby Halliday Companies and Executive Vice President of HomeServices of America, added, “Simply amazing! Almost 15,000 individuals and families were served by you and your colleagues across our three brands for $9.2 billion in sales. And an additional 402 new and experienced professionals joined you here at the company in 2022, each of them choosing to align themselves with and grow their careers alongside each of you.”
