Alana Davis Joins Briggs Freeman as New VP of Sales

Broker-Buzz-1

Alana Davis has joined Briggs-Freeman-Sotheby’s International Realty as vice president of sales.

Davis’ responsibilities will include agent development, agent recruitment, strategic planning, and business planning, as well as sales-related projects with the firm’s executive team.

Active in real estate sales for nearly 20 years in both Texas and Florida Davis provides a deep well of experience. Most recently she managed and mentored agents for a national brokerage in the Plano/Frisco area.

A results-driven executive skilled in directing multimillion-dollar business operations spanning diverse industries, Davis’ strengths include identifying new opportunities and implementing strategic initiatives that expand client bases and generate revenues. As an agent, she exceeded sales goals and was consistently a top producer. Her areas of expertise include strategic operations planning, market analytics, sales-staff training, process redesign, team leadership and mentoring.

Davis is a native of Florida with a degree from the University of Florida and honors studies at the University of South Florida. But she will help BFS focus on growing north:

“Knowing and understanding our agents in the Plano/Frisco area — so I can help enhance their careers — is job No. 1 for me. That is a big deal to me. I want them to be happy, healthy and productive, because the happier they are, the more likely we are to expand that group and continue to grow even more,” says Alana. “Next on the agenda is increasing the visibility of Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty in Collin County, and then helping our relocation division expand.”

Briggs Freeman works with more than 400 agents in it’s Metroplex offices, from Fort Worth to Plano to Lakewood. A recent company survey showed that nearly 100 percent of Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty’s clients are highly satisfied with their experience and would work with the firm again.

“Agents have always faced misconceptions by the public about what they do, and even more so now in this age of iBuyer programs. So, while the challenge of conveying value will always be present, we now have the added twist of radio spots and other marketing pieces maligning the role of the traditional agent,” says Alana. “Nothing will ever replace the advice, skills and knowledge of an expert agent. I can guarantee you that.”

Frisco continues to heat up, she says,  — “almost to the point where I’m not sure what else we can fit in!” Because of continued expansion in Frisco, there is now a trend of Frisco residents selling and moving further north, into Prosper and Celina — so those two areas continue expanding in direct correlation.
