With the recent announcement that Zillow has curbed its iBuying model, we thought it’d be appropriate to do an iBuyer edition of Splurge versus Steal. And this week’s feature takes us to Stonebridge Ranch, where these two homes are located just blocks away, but are priced worlds apart. And bear with us, the details for these listings are, well, scant but we’ll get out the proverbial magnifying glass out to highlight the outstanding features.
First off, this is Stonebridge Ranch, the OG of neighborhoods with amenities. That means hiking trails, golf, a community pool, man-made beach, tennis courts, and more. It’s one of the largest and most well-known master-planned communities in North Texas.

From the listing: “This McKinney two-story home offers a patio, and a two-car garage. This home has been virtually staged to illustrate its potential.” Unfortunately this little lady has never been on MLS, so treat this home’s interior as a treasure waiting to be discovered.
But for a couple hundred more square feet and about $25k less, it might be the home that was just waiting for you.
