More Details on NFL Star Derrick Henry’s New Dallas Home

Agent Zac Gideo, right, posted about Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry’s home purchase on Instagram.

A few more details have come to light on Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry’s purchase of a Dallas home a couple of months ago.

Henry secured the home through Rogers Healy and Associates Real Estate. Listing agent Zac Gideo posted about the transaction six weeks ago on Instagram.

It took Realtor.com to bring the sale into national focus Wednesday.

It was reported on June 17 that Gideo had set up a home purchase for former National Basketball Association superstar Shaquille O’Neal. It was also reported that Rogers Healy provided real estate services to Henry, in addition to Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Pat Mahomes and Sean Lowe from ABC’s The Bachelor.

Gideo confirmed the transaction of Henry’s home on Wednesday, saying the sale “went really smooth.”

Realtor.com said Henry’s home, a new build, had been on the market for $1.68 million. The final sale price is not known.

The contemporary-style home was still under construction in January when it came on the market, according to Realtor.com. The home was scheduled for completion when Henry and his wife, Adrianna, made the purchase.

Henry, who won the Heisman Trophy at the University of Alabama, will be playing his sixth season for the Titans. He can afford the home with a base salary of $12 million in the upcoming season, according to Spotrac.com.

What’s the connection to Dallas?

He has been working out in the offseason at Sanders Fit in Dallas (see Tweet above). But Henry has no ties to Dallas other than expressing a desire to play for the Dallas Cowboys (“I feel like it has a great organization.”) before he was drafted by the Titans in the second round in 2016.

Henry’s wife, Adrianna, who was born in Odessa and attended the University of Texas, also was a Cowboys fan.

According to Realtor.com, Henry’s Dallas home is just over 4,000 square feet with five bedrooms and four bedrooms. The home has floor-to-ceiling windows, tall ceilings, and top-of-the-line finishes. A two-story great room has ceramic tile flooring and skylights, and a fireplace. The home also has a three-car garage.

Realtor.com posted this rendering of Derrick Henry’s new home in Dallas.

He continues to keep a home in Nashville — a 5,000-square-foot mansion. And, apparently, Henry also has a room in the Nissan Heisman House (see video below).

If Henry is setting himself up to be close to the Cowboys, he picked a cool home in Dallas.
