Buyer Interest Grows As Kessler West Eyes Summer Move-In Dates

The DFW housing shortage has shone a white-hot spotlight on new home builds nearing completion. And now that Kessler West, the Oak Cliff community of modern townhomes and a luxury residential midrise, is only three months away from move-in, potential buyers are salivating for new housing coming on the market.

“The first model unit should be ready by mid-June and we’re targeting July 2021 for resident move-ins,” says Matt Holley of GroundFloor Development.

Kessler West is located at 610 N. Oak Cliff Blvd., atop the sloping intersection of Oak Cliff and Davis — where hills give rise to unparalleled views of the downtown Dallas skyline. Twelve Hills Nature Preserve is tucked just behind here, next to the award-winning neighborhood of Kessler Woods — another GroundFloor Development creation.

Two- and three-story townhomes

GroundFloor selected Hudson Construction Group, a Daltxrealestate.com Best Builder, to build the two- and three-story townhomes and midrise apartments in this hot part of town.

“The topography and architectural design of Kessler West provide an opportunity to showcase our experienced approach to both residential and commercial construction,” says Elliott Perry, co-founder of Hudson Construction Group. “We’re part of a dream team working to achieve the first community of its kind in the area.”

Kessler West feels different with a modern urban energy that celebrates a love of nature, art, and entertaining with lock-and-leave living. Each of the 20 townhomes has a private rooftop deck that provides awe-worthy views of downtown Dallas. In the center of the community, there’s a large park with walking trails, a community garden, and a manicured creek.

Inside, the homes have sleek floating stairs, floor-to-ceiling windows, and museum-finish walls. In fact, art designers were consulted in the home layouts and lighting, making a Kessler West home the perfect space to showcase art.

“Kessler West is perfect for a buyer who appreciates modern architecture with sophisticated finishes and warm colors,” developer Holley said. “It’s quite literally built for lovers of art and nature.”

The builder Perry said he’s thrilled to partner with Kessler West’s development team of architects, designers, and real estate professionals.

“The architectural commitment to focus on design, function, and topography all make Kessler West unique,” Perry said. “Kessler West brings a new standard for luxury living in the area.”
