Imagine if you will the cast from the television show The Brady Bunch hop on the bus with The Partridge Family cast and they all take a ride to the airport to catch a flight to Hawaii to visit the cast of Hawaii Five-O. Aloha!

It is fantastic. Crossover shows like this only come around once in a lifetime and the home featured in this week’s column would make the perfect set for said crossover.
“The Tiki House is a 1961 William Krisel classic, lovingly restored by Tracy Turco with the goal of transporting you to the South Pacific.” Yes, yes, and yes. They had me at tiki and South Pacific.
This most glorious home is like a time capsule from the 1970s. Yeah, baby, the orange, burnt orange, green, brown, and yellow colors are overflowing.

From the brown shag rug to the green wingback chair, the room is exquisite. They even have those glass orange sailboat things that passed for art in the ’70s.
This masterpiece is located at 2233 North Cardillo Avenue, Palm Springs, California. It has three bedrooms, three bathrooms, and is almost 1,550 square feet. The owners are asking for a little more than $1 million.

The macrame owl and the TV trays are worth $1 million all by themselves and you have not even seen the rest of the house.

It does not take a lot to hear the squelching noise as your sweaty back and thighs peel off the leather chair.
True confession time: in the house where I grew up, we had a lampshade just like the one in the photo. The only difference is that the trim on the lampshade was black velvet infused with gold and orange and it had little tassels. It explains a lot about ol’ Mimi, does it not?

That is the exact same countertop they had in The Brady Bunch. The only thing missing is Alice and her pork chops with applesauce.
Check out the bathrooms.

A brown shag toilet seat cover. Who knew they still made such things?
Now to tie in our friends from Hawaii Five-O.

Tiki man bedspread, tiki man lamp, and a big hand chair. You will excuse me while I grab my checkbook because this house is mine.

You have your tiki hut, tiki men at the front of the house, and a really nice space to relax in the back. There is only thing left to say.
