Take a Peek at SUPPLY Showroom’s Incredible Wallpaper Selection

When you start the search for wallpaper, there’s only one real way to describe it – OVERWHELMING. You search the internet, go to showrooms, then circle back to all of them on the off chance you missed something. OH NO. Not you. You will not miss a pattern or a print or a swatch. We get it. One of the best resources when you’re looking is someone with amazing taste. Lucky for us, we found three.

Their names are Callie Jenschke, Kim West, and Kristin Gish and together they own and operate SUPPLY Showroom. They have a brick-and-mortar in Austin and their online shop is always open for orders, inspiration, and a whole lot of “oh wow.”

Who are these girls? Two are native Texans and one married a Texan. Two have a design background and one is a design enthusiast. They all three moved to Austin from New York but didn’t know each other way up there. Of course, they found each other down here. United through a love of prints and patterns, they set up shop in 2014.

SUPPLY was on “it” before “it” was even a thing. They hold the exclusive license to several lines in the United States and stock wallpapers and fabrics from artists and small-batch manufacturers from around the world. With three owners and three varied tastes, there’s a little something for everyone from subtle metallics to bold florals to whimsical whimsy.

They don’t just sell wallpaper either, they live it. West said during the construction of her new home she had the choice between splurging on tile or wallpaper. She went with wallpaper. “It’s so much easier to change out. There’s no chiseling and chipping.” She’s right. If you want to reinvent your space every few years, wallpaper is the way to go.

As for getting in on the wallpaper game – do it your way. There’s no wrong way to wallpaper. Some people chose an accent wall, others hit up all four, some add in the ceiling, too, and then there’s the powder room people. “Everyone has a powder room that could use a facelift,” said West. It’s an easy entry to an intimidating process and also a place where you can have a lot of fun because it is such a small space.

What pattern should you start with? Again, whichever one speaks to you. West said that’s what she loves about wallpaper, it’s a great way to personalize your space. She also suggested starting with a simple pattern with a hint of metallic. It’s something special, but never too much and it’ll look so good, you’ll be primed to go big in the next room.

To get things going, we asked West to send us some of her favorite prints and here’s what she offered…
