About 14 miles north of Dallas, Allen is among Collin County’s most sought-after suburbs. With attractions like Watters Creek, Celebration Park, and even its own semi-pro hockey team, the Allen Americans, there are so many reasons why its 105,000 residents love living here. This Collin County suburb also features 60 natural and man-made parks with over 1,188 acres of total parkland. It also houses the corporate headquarters for many companies like PINSTACK, Lyrick Studios, and HiT Entertainment.
While these are all convincing reasons for calling Allen home, I’m convinced the biggest draw may be the city’s dazzling houses. Allen boasts some of the biggest homes in the Collin County. It’s also a place where you can get a lot more bang for your buck. In this city, it isn’t uncommon to find a 4,000-square-foot home for under $1 million.
