Quick question: How many one acre (or larger) homesites exist within a 1.5-mile radius of three of Fort Worth’s most exclusive country clubs?

Quick answer: Not many.

If you’re a fan of Tarrant County Tuesday (and I know you are) you probably see a unifying thread from last week’s post — exclusive country club homes on large golf course homesites. And 4404 Ridgehaven Road, backing to Ridglea Golf Course is exactly that.

Privacy

If privacy is what you’re needing then this nearly 7,500-square-foot ranch style home of four-or-five bedrooms and six-and-one-half bathrooms is for you.  Located in the neighborhood known as Ridglea, the home is literally minutes from shops, restaurants, entertainment and Downtown Fort Worth.

While the location is ideal, the privacy that comes with the home is amazingly unique.  Surrounded by mature shade trees on 1.5 acres, 4404 Ridgehaven Road is one of those properties where curtains can be opened and family activities can go on without worrying about nosy neighbors.

Space

Ahh, the beauty of a ranch-style home.  Built in 1954, this home features some of the largest rooms you’ll ever see!

The ranch style, single-story home offers large rooms and plenty of them!

Large bedrooms, open spaces, and beautiful views never go out of sight.  If you only need four bedrooms then the bonus room and bathroom is a perfect game room or home office — and has great views of the golf course, too.

Exclusivity

Regarding my question from the beginning, three of the five major country clubs (Rivercrest, Shady Oaks, and Ridglea Country Club) are all located within 1.5 miles of one another on the west side of Fort Worth.

Rivercrest CC (far right), Shady Oaks CC (far left) and Ridglea CC (bottom left) are within 1.5 miles of one another — guess which neighborhood is the best value?

Rivercrest Country Club is tucked away in the neighborhood where the majority of the homesites are less than one acre.  Shady Oaks Country Club has a few properties over one acre.  Starting price for those properties will start at $3 million or more.

Value

Ridglea Country Club features larger homesites and more ranch-style, single-story homes than any of the three.  This home is listed for only $1.9 million.

Wait … $1.9 million is a value?  Yes.  The well-kept secret of the Ridglea neighborhood is that your money goes a lot farther than similar areas that share the same shops, restaurants, and areas of entertainment.

This beautiful ranch at 4404 Ridgehaven Road is listed by Spencer Perry of Williams Trew Real Estate.
