As Dallas CASA’s Parade of Playhouses enters its second week on display, raffle tickets are still available, along with a chance to take home $1,000 in “NorthPark Gold” gift coins.

Dallas CASA Public Relations Manager Rosanne Lewis said a raffle drawing will be held at the Dallas CASA office on July 31 and winners will be notified on the afternoon of Aug. 1. Playhouses will be delivered to the winners’ driveways the following week.

A closing ceremonies party, originally scheduled for July 31, has been indefinitely postponed, Lewis said.

Parade of Playhouses is an annual event sponsored by Daltxrealestate.com and dozens of other local partners that benefit Dallas’s court-appointed special advocates and the abused and neglected children they serve.

The event, which opened on July 15, features playhouses constructed by local builders, architects, and volunteers. The playhouses are on display at NorthPark Center through July 31. Raffle tickets are $5 each or five for $20 and can be purchased at dallascasa.org.  The $1,000 shopping spree at NorthPark Center also will be raffled this year.
