Julie Eizenberg is known for her commitment to creating buildings that have the power to change everyday lives by creating social interaction and providing safety, comfort, and dignity, no matter the size of the budget. “The Forum looks forward to Julie Eizenberg’s lecture. She is widely recognized for her commitment to the concept that buildings have the power to change everyday lives. Koning Eizenberg is known for sustainable and affordable housing whose design begins with considering the residents, rather than the budget, to provide safety, comfort and dignity. The firm applies the same approach to all of their projects, no matter the type, size or cost,” said Nate Eudaly, Executive Director of The Forum. “We believe the creativity and social concepts of Koning Eizenberg will provide a program of great interest to attendees.”

Koning Eizenberg has been honored as AIA California’s Firm of the Year, and Eizenberg, together with founding partner Hank Koning, was awarded the AIA Los Angeles Gold Medal and the Australian Institute of Architects Gold Medal. She was also recognized with an Honorary Ph.D. in Architecture from the University of Melbourne. Under her leadership, Koning Eizenberg has earned over 180 design, preservation, and sustainability awards.

The lecture is presented at no charge to Dallas Architecture Forum members and sponsors. To join the forum, visit DallasArchitectureForum.org.

Advance registration for the lecture is required. Forum members will receive information about registration.
