Where Is The Best View of Downtown Dallas in Oak Cliff? It Might Be at Kessler West

Is it fair to say that skyline views of Downtown Dallas are part of the currency of living in Oak Cliff? If so, the next generation of modern townhomes built in Kessler West is worth their weight in gold.

Kessler West is the noteworthy residential development that has captured the attention of both homebuyers and real estate enthusiasts alike. With the beginning of Phase Two construction, the evolution of this community is taking another significant step forward.

We’re pleased to partner with Kessler West and offer daltxrealestate.com readers an exclusive broker open preview from the top.

Join Candy Evans on the roof of Kessler West’s new three-story townhome on Sept. 14, where we’ll enjoy a pre-dinner cocktail set against the incredible rooftop views of Downtown Dallas. Then head down the street to experience the buzz of happy hour and dinner in bustling Oak Cliff.

When we last looked in on Kessler West it was Nov. 2021, and the last homes of their Phase One development were being sold. Since then, the Kessler West development team has enthusiastically launched Phase Two.

The first seven units of Phase Two will be completed in December. This debuts a second generation of townhomes with amazing floorplans and 3,103 square feet of living space with three bedrooms, three and one-half baths, and a private rooftop deck. Phase Two will bring a total of 13 two- and three-story homes to this neighborhood.

Kessler West’s Phase One, offered in 2021, consisted of a block of two-story townhomes with 2,964-square-foot properties that have three bedrooms, three and one-half baths, and individual rooftop decks with those unbelievable views. That initial phase sold out within four months once placed on the market. Phase Two will be officially released for sale immediately after the broker event in September — but units are already being reserved. Inventory is tight, so our advice is that you don’t miss this chance to see these units before they are gone.

The Kessler West Team is Built For Success

Much of the team – from renowned architects to management – is the same that was involved in creating Kessler Woods, a buzzy project that brought luxury architecturally significant homes to Oak Cliff in 2005 and where the visionary developer Matt Holley saw his vision for clean-lined, modern living come to life.

When people thought of North Oak Cliff, they once pictured old homes and brimming trees. Then came the award-winning Kessler Woods at Oak Cliff Boulevard just north of Davis. Holley literally stumbled onto the property.

“I like to say Kessler Woods is the result of a lucky stroll and a curious inquiry,” says Holley.

Walking down the street one day in 2002, Holley saw a for sale sign on three lots that turned out to be four acres. He purchased it, along with an additional 10-acre parcel of land that came through a bid with the City of Dallas. Thus, the Kessler Woods concept was born.

Now Holley’s next vision of contemporary living among the trees and cliffs of South Dallas has now sprung to a second exciting phase at Kessler West.

RSVP now to see the view from Phase Two of Kessler West at an exclusive broker open Sept. 14, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at 610 N. Oak Cliff Blvd., atop the sloping intersection of N. Oak Cliff and W. Davis. Join Candy Evans for a pre-dinner cocktail and the chance to experience the incredible views of Downtown Dallas.
