Fun With the Presidents Streets, Continued: Write Your Own Deed Restrictions on Bushwhacker Drive & House or Guantanamo Cell?

607-Bush-Allen-yardPlaying around in the MLS is addicting. I’m supposed to be blogging a feature, but I became fascinated with finding a home on Bush Drive, Street or Road. Lookie what I found.

607-Bush-Drive-AllenThere is a home at 607 Bush Drive in Allen, $175,000 reduced from $179,500. Jeeze they might make a sale if you could SEE THE FRIGGIN’ HOUSE! What is this, Guantanamo? This is honestly worse than waterboarding: look at how dark these photos are. Is this a house, or is it a shadow? Nice solid little three bedroom, two bath ranch built in 1969. I am afraid, I am very afraid of what lurks inside, although I am sure we cannot see it because it’s so dark. These are lovely shots of the garage area, two, the bushes and wood fence, and what do you know, the fence again! Because that’s where we will be living — in the garage, next to the fence. Because it’s so dark inside. 607-Bush-rear-garage 607-Bush-Allen 607-Bush-garageThen in Mabank, which is south of Dallas, there is a home on Bushwhacker drive listed for $259,000. Three bedrooms, three baths, just under 2,000 square feet. Nothing fancy, just a nice solid house. Whoever decides to live at 164 Bushwhacker is definitely a free spirit, a maverick, one who sets his own rules, lives by his or her own book, one who can write their own deed restrictions.

Kind of like a president, whacking those bushes.
