Exclusive HALL Arts Residences Take Healthy Living to New Heights

What if you could live in a place that would actually help make you well? Or at least, inspire wellness? A home that would contribute to your extreme well-being, from the psychological to the physical to air that has found a way to minimize germs. I’m somewhat of a germ-phobe, and have been so well before pre-COVID days.

So when I learned about the standards set in place at HALL Arts Residences, I was ready to move in. You will be, too.

In the age of COVID-19, there is little — if anything — more important than our health and safety. In many ways, this begins with our lived environments. HALL Arts Residences, the newest high-rise to debut in Dallas, in the Arts District, is the first residential tower in Texas (and one of the first in the country) to register for the rigorous WELL Multifamily Certification.

The WELL Building Standard was launched in 2014 and is the first global health-rating system to be focused exclusively on the ways that buildings impact their occupants. This includes how interior spaces improve comfort, drive better choices and support and enhance — in the case of HALL Arts Residences — homeowner health and wellness.

According to its website, WELL was developed by integrating scientific and medical research and literature on environmental health, behavioral factors, health outcomes and demographic risk factors that affect health, with leading practices in building design, construction and management.

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to impact our daily lives, HALL Arts Residences is a building that makes you almost want to be quarantined in your home. Yes, I said want!

Some of the WELL features at HALL Arts Residences that are designed to impede the spread of COVID-19 include multilevel air filtration; enhanced cleaning procedures with antimicrobial surfaces and handwashing; improved air quality through ventilation, humidity, microbe and mold control; naturally embedded social distancing with floor-destination elevators; and expansive health and fitness offerings to help strengthen immune systems.

Other WELL features include demising walls — the walls between individual residences — that mitigate noise transfer, a sound-reducing membrane installed in floors, access to state-of-the-art fitness centers, abundant natural light with floor-to-ceiling windows, and an environment infused with inspiring art to nourish the mind, body, and soul. Celebrated management company FirstService Residential oversees the day-to-day operations at HALL Arts Residences. The company was on the cutting edge of research and the creation of best practices when the COVID-19 pandemic broke out in March.

With properties spanning the country from New York to California, the team at FirstService Residential quickly ensured that residents in all buildings had the resources and protection they needed to help combat the pandemic. The company deployed a guidebook outlining its efforts to help communities and condominium associations everywhere stay safe and healthy.

Cindi Caudle and Kyle Richards of Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty, which is exclusively representing the stunning, health-forward high-rise, are offering virtual tours of the tower, featuring 48 spectacular homes and a 17,000-square-foot indoor/outdoor amenity level framed by iconic views of the Dallas Arts District.
