River Park, a quiet neighborhood near one of Fort Worth’s fastest-growing communities, will see new development — again.
The award-winning Embrey Partners began construction on The Elm at River Park, its newest multifamily development, in late January. The company closed on its purchase of the site just a month earlier.
The 293-unit complex in southwest Fort Worth will be constructed with an urban contemporary farmhouse design. Offering a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments, amenities include structured parking, a resort-style pool, a state-of-the-art fitness center, a dog park, and bike storage.
The Elm at River Park will be located on River Park Drive near 183 and Vickery Blvd. It’s adjacent to the Shops at Clearfork, a new upscale shopping center featuring Neiman Marcus, Burberry, Tory Burch, and Tiffany & Co., as well as fine dining, nightlife, and movies.

The development will also be near the Trinity Trails River Park Trailhead, Waterside shopping, and six miles from Downtown Fort Worth’s Sundance Square and the arts district off Magnolia Avenue.
River Park primarily consists of single-family homes, which were developed between 2005 and 2008. There are currently six multifamily developments in the neighborhood— many of which were developed more than five years ago.
Embrey plans for this new multifamily development in River Park to be completed and move-in ready by the end of summer 2021.
“The opportunity to develop this project in such a desirable area with great access to the Chisolm Trail Parkway and nearby amenities such as premier shopping is exciting for Embrey,” John Kirk of Embry Partners said in a news release.

Embrey Partners received the 2018 Fort Worth Beautiful Award from the Fort Worth Garden Club for its only other Fort Worth-based development — the luxury apartments Kelley at Samuel Ave.

The development also received the 2019 Multifamily Executive Magazine Merit Award for Garden-Style Walk-Up.
