Belle Place is a quaint street just North of Camp Bowie Boulevard in the Monticello area of Fort Worth. In the middle of the block is a gray Craftsman-style home that just hit the market.

The first thing you’ll love about this 2,100-square-foot home is the inviting front porch that wraps around the south side of the home to not only create a wonderful outdoor living area, but a friend’s entrance from the driveway.

Of course, every large porch deserves a nice swing.

Family And Living Areas

When describing a home, the living room is typically the more formal setting if there are multiple rooms that hold a similar purpose. In the past, it’s where the furniture you’re not allowed to sit on is placed and is rarely used in today’s home.

The family room would be the room where you can prop your feet up and get Funyun crumbs between the couch cushions.

Luckily, 1300 Belle Place has two rooms that could serve the same purpose. Because of the great flow and feel of this home, I would contend that it has two family rooms. The front family room has an inviting fireplace while the back family room is the perfect spot to hang out, watch TV, or read a book with all the windows allowing sunlight to pour into the room.

The second family room is just off the dining area also leads to the updated kitchen. Both family rooms are open to other rooms in the home and have awesome, vintage pine floors.

A Lot Has Changed Since 1911

How awesome that this home is literally 110 years old and still in such great condition? Certainly, there have been major updates and enhancements since the home was first built. No worries, we all need those from time to time.

First check out the kitchen — open, light, bright, trendy finishes, and plenty of counter, cabinet, and storage space. This is, after all, where everyone is 99 percent of the time, so it’s a good thing that the kitchen has open flow access to the living room and the family room.

Now let’s look at the updated primary bathroom. Once again, this is not from the early 1900s for sure. More popular tiles, counters, and colors. Space is what you really notice both in the kitchen and bathrooms in the Belle Place home.

In total, 1300 Belle Place is just over 2,100 square feet with three bedrooms and two-and-one-half bathrooms. There is also a covered and an open patio in the private backyard to enjoy.

Jennie Doumany of The Pursuit Group along with Chris Miller and Debbie Petty of Williams Trew Real Estate have listed 1300 Belle Place for $599,000
