What location or area do you primarily build in? What about the location makes it especially attractive?
I primarily build in Lakewood and Preston Hollow. These areas are attractive due to their accessibility and amenities.
What’s your go-to architectural style? Traditional? Contemporary? Old World? Modern?
My go-to architectural style is Mediterranean, but as a custom builder, I have built houses in every style to give each client the perfect home with the look and features they want for their family.
How does your company provide value to your clients?
I have a high level of home building and remodeling experience and expertise and I am very accessible to my clients. I am able to visualize the details of my projects and understand how parts of features are put together. These skills allow me to bring together the necessary materials and talented tradespeople to create the features a client desires.
Have you received any recent awards? What for? From whom?
Desco Fine Homes has been voted as Best Builder in D Magazine every year since 2005 and won multiple ARC Awards in 2015.
Considering the competition, how does your brand distinguish itself?
I limit the number of projects I accept, so that I can oversee the building of each home and remain accessible to my clients. I have long-term relationships with many of my subcontractors who share my attitude of high-quality workmanship.
What does being a member of the Dallas Builders Association do for you and your business?
Being a member of the DBA gives me access to useful educational resources and market updates.
What is the biggest challenge you face in the current market? What are you doing to overcome it?
My biggest challenge is finding reasonably priced lots in my preferred areas. I am continually searching and keep looking until I can find a quality lot without overpaying.
