When it comes to your new home, you want a builder that is just as obsessed with your ideas as you are, and that’s why we’re featuring 419 Builders as our Dallas Builders Association Member Spotlight.

Find out more about 419 Builders as the Daltxrealestate.com staff highlights some of the spectacular members of Dallas Builders Association right here, asking these consummate professionals all about their business as a way to brag on the many quality, trustworthy builders in the North Texas area that can count themselves among their peers in the Dallas Builders Association.

What location or area do you primarily build in? What about the location makes it especially attractive?

419 Builders primarily builds in North Oak Cliff and we love the diverse neighborhoods that boast houses from more than 100 years old to brand-new construction.  North Oak Cliff offers interesting and challenging topography, beautiful and stately trees, and rapidly redeveloping pockets providing new and eclectic restaurants, more jobs, and overall opportunity in the heart of Dallas.

What’s your go-to architectural style? Traditional? Contemporary? Old World? Modern?

Our preferred architectural style is modern; we provide varying styles within the modern design for each new build and extensive renovation.  We have completed challenging homes with rooftop decks, no overhangs, cantilevers, and large expanses of glass walls that are both complex and stylistically very interesting. 419 Builders works diligently to offer long-lasting —  and enviable — structures.

How does your company provide value to your clients?

The primary differentiator for 419 Builders is our full design/build capabilities; we help our clients take their ideas and we turn them into plans and ultimately a dream home.

Further, we have been working in Dallas for 10 years and are very familiar with the different neighborhoods, particularly in North Oak Cliff, different districts including preservation, conservation, and historical and what each of these mean, especially when it comes to seeking and obtaining permits from the City.

Critically, we have an incredible group of skilled subcontractors and tradesmen that enable us to deliver custom homes quickly and with a high degree of precision.

Considering the competition, how does your brand distinguish itself?

419 Builders distinguishes itself in three ways: geographic focus, full design/build services, and innovative designs.  Almost exclusively, 419 Builders focuses on building and renovating homes in the neighborhood in which we live: North Oak Cliff.

Living in and working in this relatively small geographic location of Dallas means we understand the area well and have a vested interest in designing beautiful, innovative homes for our community. 419 Builders’ full design/build services enables us to often shorten the time from concept to execution to final product for our clients.

And finally, 419 Builders provides innovative designs not only in the home design itself but also in creating a design that takes advantage of each unique lot we build on. So, we work to produce homes that are constructed around mature trees and embrace the lot topography.

What does being a member of the Dallas Builders Association do for you and your business?

Staying abreast of industry changes and City of Dallas regulations, while getting the chance to learn from other innovative builders is a great advantage for 419 Builders’ membership in DBA.

What is the biggest challenge you face in the current market? What are you doing to overcome it?

Navigating changing zoning, building, and engineering requirements is a constant challenge.

And, while not a unique challenge, designing homes that appeal to a range of buyers is a persistent issue for any builder.
