BLAST OFF. Why Having a Sense of Urgency Is VITAL

Everyone moves at a different pace. Even individuals striving for the same goals move to a different beat.

I live my life with a sense of urgency and given the rapidly moving pace of today’s real estate market, moving with urgency is more vital now than ever.

There is a difference between being in a hurry and having a sense of urgency. You can be in a rush to get to work, and a rush to finish a task, but having a sense of urgency is in a different category. Urgency means a desire to complete your goals, and a craving to achieve your passions.

The housing market is full of urgency. Houses aren’t sitting on the market like they used to, and homeowners desire their dream home immediately. The stresses surrounding real estate are vast right now, so why not immediately take action on the items you can control?

I am always in a hurry, but I also live with a sense of urgency.

Whether you are a real estate agent, a business owner, or a future homeowner, you can’t be afraid to make the first move or make the awkward first phone call, it will pay off.

There are thousands of items on everyone’s to-do lists, and you should start acting on that list immediately. Start by acting on a decision, the finish line will be much closer if you take a leap and start.

I hear stories all the time of individuals in sales that are nervous to make a phone call, send an email, or follow a lead. Being timid is not going to help you become successful in any industry.

Have a fear of picking up the phone? Or hitting send on an email? Don’t overthink it. I like to call this the rocket ship approach, count down from three, and blastoff.

I don’t have the luxury of putting something off, and I don’t think anyone else should have that luxury either. Enjoy the beauty of making the first move, pick up the phone, hit send. Blastoff.

If the idea of not overthinking something is daunting, thenchange your approach. Find a new way to adapt, because making quick decisions will pay off in the long run.

I’ve mentioned several times to not wait for real estate, invest in real estate now and wait. This same motto can be used for every profession and every walk of life. Don’t wait to do what you want, and what you need, conquer your goals and then wait for the results.

Trust me, they’ll be worth it.

Three.

Two.

One.

Blastoff.
