Modern architecture, modern music, and mingling get their time together next week with 365 Modern Music. Presented by the Dallas Architecture Forum and Voices of Change, this soirée will be an informal afternoon at a private residence on White Rock Lake designed by Dallas architect Frank Welch, FAIA. It will feature the modern music of Voices of Change, a Grammy-nominated chamber music ensemble performing late 20th- and 21st-century classical music.
“We are excited to partner with Voices of Change to present this innovative program,” said DAF Executive Director Nate Eudaly. “Attendees will be able to hear a brief program of outstanding contemporary classical music in a unique setting —a residence designed by Frank Welch, one of Texas’ most distinguished architects.”
The Dallas Architecture Forum is celebrating 20 years of presenting programs about inspired design. This program is an opportunity to collaborate with Voices of Change to present an event featuring outstanding modern music in the setting of great modern architecture. Attendees will be able to hear a brief concert, meet the esteemed architect of the residence, and take a tour of the home. Participants will also be able to visit with the musicians and other attendees while enjoying light refreshments following the performance.
365 Modern Music will take place from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 12. Tickets for the event are $45 per person, and space is limited. Confirmed attendees will receive residence address. Tickets can be purchased HERE.
