What’s better than bringing in a stager to help you sell a property for top dollar? Having three!
That’s exactly what Suzy Echols Neal got when she won the Real Estate Staging Association team staging giveaway last fall. The prize included a team of RESA stagers, MLS photos from Lance Selgo of Unique Exposure Photography, and a virtual tour for an occupied staging. According to RESA Texas State president Karen Eubank of Eubank Staging, the total value of the package is $1,200.
Eubank, RESA Dallas chapter president Karen Otto of Home Star Staging, and fellow RESA stager Amy Fedosky of New Again Home Interiors went to work on Neal’s Lake Highlands listing last month, and thanks to the team’s detailed consultation and fabulous photography, Neal’s clients were able to sell their home at 8606 Shagrock after getting several offers in the first 24 hours.
“This project was a lot of fun,” said Eubank, who is the Texas state president of RESA. “Working together on this project was a wonderful way to showcase the talent of stagers in our group and bring about greater visibility for the profession.”
Not only did the team completely transform the home into a show-stopper, but they were able to do so in a way that showed off the home’s assets that buyers in this hectic market might overlook. To see the impact, check out a few of these before photos:

And now see the afters! Amazing, right?

“In this crazy market, many sellers believe that staging a house for a buyer isn’t important,” Neal said. “When a buyer walks into a house, they want it to feel like a home and a place where they imagine themselves living. Staging does just this. By staging Shagrock my sellers received multiple offers in less than 24 hours! I believe that staging and professional pictures are the most important marketing activities an agent can do to effectively assist their sellers.”
We agree, and the stagers with the Dallas chapter of RESA definitely think outside the box to serve their clients and Realtors all over the region. The group has partnered with Dwell with Dignity and offers monthly courses on staging through the MetroTex Association of Realtors. It’s definitely a group that values the expertise and knowledge of its fellow members and associates.
“I really enjoyed collaborating with my fellow RESA Dallas members on this project,” Fedosky said. “While others may view us as competitors, these ladies are actually a great inspiration and professional resource that I have come to rely on.”
