Tucked away in East Dallas, less than four miles from the shores of White Rock Lake, this hidden gem at 5637 Emrose Terrace is a perfect example of renovations done right. From its espresso floors and decorative lighting to the new roof and radiant barrier insulation, literally everything in the home has been redone since 2015.

“It looks and feels like a very modern, nice home on the inside,” Dallas City Center agent Scott Noblett said. “You can see the pool when you walk through the front door, through the living room and out to the back patio.”

The pool, with newly installed decking, is the centerpiece of a yard ideal for entertaining. It features a comfortable patio with grilling space that can be accessed from the living area or master bedroom.

Inside, a spacious second-floor loft, perfect for a home office, overlooks the grand, naturally lit living area with vaulted ceilings. The three-bedroom home’s split-level floor plan provides ample space for various family activities. The kitchen has also been updated with the latest amenities.

“A person should be able to move right in and feel like they are in a house that seems much newer than the year it was actually built,” Noblett said.

The house was actually constructed in 1984. It was one of the last homes built in the Buckner Terrace area.  Neighbors still take pride in their homes, as is evident by the perfectly manicured yards seen throughout the neighborhood.

“It’s really hard to find a find a 2,196-square-foot, completely remodeled home with a pool for under $300,000,” Noblett said. “You can really get a lot for your money here.”
