You know how much we love transformations. We also love lake homes. This week we have the double-treat of a lake property that has gone through a complete transformation over the past years and is now available.

Located in Lake Country, which is just a few miles from downtown Fort Worth, so the party is never far away.

Eagle Mountain Lake Property

What’s not to like about lake property? You don’t have to drive far in the Dallas-Fort Worth area to visit any number of the lakes in the area. We don’t need six-hour trips to the Texas coast here. There is no saltwater to deal with or that will erode your mechanical equipment like a beach property. Last time we checked, not many sharks in lake water.

The quiet swishing of the water against the dock is one of the greatest sounds to put you in a good mood. Plus, people seem friendlier around lake homes. Whether it’s the relaxing environment, a plethora of adult beverages, or just because, there’s always a party at the lake.

A Total Transformation

Let’s face it — styles and trends change constantly when it comes to home design, both inside and outside. While the open concept home is en vogue now, we might be reading Tarrant County Tuesday a decade from now talking about how popular the closed-off galley kitchen and choppy floor plan have now become the rage.

Who knows what’s next? But please don’t bring back the red dining rooms!

I get it. Colors go in and out of style. Materials are always coming and going in popularity for flooring, counters, lighting, and plumbing fixtures. At times we think that carpet in the bathroom is a good idea because everyone is doing it.

No one can ever stay ahead of the trend. Eventually, every home is going to become dated. The key is to realize when a home has become stale and be willing to do something about it.

The owners of 7812 Skylake Drive in the Lake Country addition on Eagle Mountain Lake previously lived in a dated and stale home. And boy, did they do something about it!

Not only has the interior — which totals 3,406 square feet home with three bedrooms, four bathrooms, and a large upstairs landing — been transformed, but the exterior as well. It’s amazing what cleaning up the trees and tearing out old shrubs can do for a home.

Not to mention installing quality landscaping and exterior lighting — all completed in 2022 — to really make the outdoor space enjoyable.

With a reimagined backyard, 7812 Skylake Drive can be enjoyed inside and outside — even if you don’t get into the lake.

Best of all, this fantastic home is literally minutes from the center of Fort Worth. While it might seem a world away, it’s just down the street from the hustle and bustle of Cowtown. Enjoy your very own resort on Eagle Mountain Lake.
