JPAR Real Estate today announced the appointment of Mark Johnson as President of the Frisco-based national brokerage. In this new role, Mark will have responsibility for the JPAR Real Estate enterprise including its brokerage and franchise operations, which serves consumers across 65 offices in 25 states with more than 3,600 real estate professionals.

“I’m humbled and excited to expand my role with JPAR Real Estate and look forward to helping create strong, exponential growth in the years to come,” Johnson said. “JPAR is an award-winning game changer in the marketplace and I could not be more excited to make a bigger difference in this industry.”

Before joining JPAR in February 2018 as Chief Operating Officer, Johnson was Vice President of Business Development and Coaching Success for the Tom Ferry Coaching Organization in California. As such, Johnson is recognized nationally as a real estate coach and motivational leader in professional development. He is a Daltxrealestate.com motivational column contributor, frequent guest commentator on local and national media, and the host of Success Superstars on YouTube. Mark has invested more than 20 years in understanding the inner workings of high performing real estate agents, teams, managers, and leaders in major markets across the world.

Over the past four years with Johnson, JPAR has seen significant growth. In 2021, the combined organization closed more than 26,000 real estate transactions. The company was recognized as an Inc. 5000 honoree for the 5th consecutive year and the 6th consecutive year as one of the top 100 places to work by the Dallas Morning News.

Giuseppe “JP” Piccinini founded JPAR, formerly called JP & Associates, in 2011 as one of the early 100 percent commission-based models, saving agents thousands in brokerage fees. Agents traditionally pay a percentage of their commission back to their brokerage. Under this model, they pay transaction fees and retain a greater portion of the commission.

The JPAR Franchise network, launched in 2019, was just named a 2022 Top 200 Best Franchise by Franchise Business Review.

“JPAR Real Estate is one of the fastest growing 100 percent commission brokerages and franchise enterprises in the United States and I’m excited to work with Mark and such a talented group of real estate professionals to exponentially grow our network,” said Laura O’Connor, President of JPAR Franchising.

Utah-based Cairn Real Estate Holdings, LLC acquired the company in May 2021. Cairn is a partnership between Cairn Chairman and CEO Rick Davidson, who previously served as global CEO of Realogy Real Estate Services Corp.’s Century 21 real estate unit, and private equity firm Aperion Management.

“Having the right leadership is critical as we continue to build the Cairn network. Mark Johnson and Laura O’Connor are industry-leading executives poised to drive JPAR Real Estate to new levels of success,” Davidson said in a statement. “We could not be more excited for Mark and the entire #JPARNation as he steps into this expanded role.”
