Everything’s bigger in Texas, and Dallas is home to four of the most expensive active single-family home listings in the state, according to a new report issued by the Houston Association of Realtors.

Topping the list is the $24.5 million mansion at 5411 Surrey Circle. It’s been on the market for about four months, and this is not its first appearance on the most expensive list.

Other Dallas listings include the homes at 5531 Walnut Hill Lane, 9520 Hathaway St., and 5414 Edlen Drive.

Also making the Lone Star State’s top 10 most expensive listings are:

  • 7841 Escala Drive, Austin, $17.9 million
  • 200 Congress Ave. No. 54GP, Austin, $15.75 million
  • 6307 West Courtyard Drive, Austin, $15.5 million
  • 3920 Inverness Drive, Houston, $14.99 million
  • 4310 River Garden Trail, Austin, $12.25 million
  • 2121 Kirby Drive Unit 33, Houston, $10.5 million

Surrey Circle

The eight-bedroom, 10-bath abode at 5411 Surrey Circle took the top spot of July’s most expensive listings in the state.

The $24.5 million home sits on 3.25 acres of artfully landscaped private grounds in Bluffview.

Built in 1972, this Design Excellence Award winner was designed by architect Bud Oglesby for a prominent Dallas doctor. The carriage house was constructed in 2014 and 2015.

Multiple living areas and sophisticated materials like limestone, walnut, maple, and stainless steel are spread out across 16,000 square feet. A cozy wine cellar, billiards room, elevator, five-car attached garage, and piano room make this the property of a lifetime. Realtor Joan Eleazer, brokered by Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty, is listing the home.

Walnut Hill Lane

This castle on the hill is so big that an aerial rendering is the only way to capture it.

At 5531 Walnut Hill Lane in Crespi Estates, you’ll find new construction that spans 10,577 square feet on a 2-acre lot.

Priced at $15.99 million, this home takes the No. 3 spot on the most expensive listings in Texas for July.
