Terry Bradshaw, who’s had downsizing on his mind the past few years, will continue to have a rather large asset on his hands for a while.
His 744-plus-acre southern Oklahoma ranch is back on the market after a buyer failed to close on a previous transaction, according to the Dallas-based Icon Global Group.
The buyer “sadly failed to follow through, perform, fund and close the transaction,” Icon Global’s Bernard Uechtritz said in a statement. The buyer was not identified.
The cattle and recreation ranch is in Thackerville, Oklahoma, and features an equine breeding facility. The ranch has an estate home, several stocked fishing lakes, ponds, and horse care and livestock infrastructure.
It’s been up for sale for more than five years and was listed at $22.5 million. In the statement, Uechtritz said he and Bradshaw, an NFL broadcaster and former Pittsburgh Steelers great, has received numerous offers for the ranch over the years.

“However, it has taken Terry and Tammy some time to finally make the decision to let go of their much-loved ranch which Terry built over decades from the ground up,” Uechtritz said.
Bradshaw has moved his quarter horse breeding operation, which includes 30 mares, to a smaller Texas ranch. Bradshaw has scheduled an auction on Oct. 22 to sell more than 150 of his horses.
Bradshaw said he and his wife, Tammy, “are both sad to leave this great big ranch and our wonderful home which has been our idyllic retreat of so many years.
“However, it is time that we slowed down a little, freeing us up to travel more, as well as enjoy new grandchildren, family, and other interests,” Bradshaw said.
If you’ve watched the E Television series, The Bradshaw Bunch, you’ve seen a good portion of the 8,600-square-foot main house. It has six bedrooms and a large swimming pool.
Uechtritz believes his firm has a winner on its hands.
“The property and facilities are a turnkey-ready proposition for a major equestrian player in the horse business or continued use as a cattle or private recreational ranch,” he said. “The ranch is an hour from Dallas and Fort Worth.”
