Realtor Sean Parsons Showcases an Amazing Modern Farmhouse in Casa Linda Estates

Knowing what buyers want in new construction is essential today. We are way past guessing, assuming, or speculating. You have to know. Realtor Sean Parsons knows exactly what buyers want, and that’s what makes him so successful. His latest project is a move-in-ready Modern Farmhouse in Casa Linda Estates.

His knowledge base started early by landing summer jobs during college in construction. Framing houses led to more challenging work, and before long, it became apparent that a real estate license would be necessary, and there was no better place to be than RE/MAX DFW and Associates.

“Every step and every job clarified what I wanted to do, and that was real estate development,” Parsons said. “I understand how the builder, developer, and Realtor relationships worked together successfully, and I love bringing deals and people together. It takes an orchestra of people, working in harmony, to build a really beautiful home that someone will love forever.”

With his depth and breadth of experience in remodeling and construction over the past 15 years, it made sense to start a turn-key company, so he launched 37 Built.

“Throughout my broker career, I’ve worked closely with buyers and other builders allowing me to know exactly what buyers are dreaming about,” Parsons said. “Our customers need to be able to skip the cost exaggerations, the permits, walk in and enjoy their home. They want a premium spec home, fully customized before they walk in the door.”

This Modern Farmhouse is an excellent example of how that orchestral relationship works. When Parsons came across an abandoned old house in Casa Linda Estates that was essentially falling over, he saw potential in the future of this home site.

“This neighborhood feels like a genuine estate neighborhood with 100-foot-wide lots, 50-foot setbacks, 24 feet between homes, and very little traffic,” he said. “I envisioned a picturesque home tucked into this lovely neighborhood.”

You know something is different about this house when you drive up. I-beams and steel in the framing allow the front porch to be cantilevered with no posts. It’s also 10-foot-high, which you seldom see.

Parsons created a warm, airy, clean vibe for the 4,975-square-foot home, with white oak floors and subtle finish-out selections. The Modern Farmhouse has five bedrooms, five bathrooms, a gym, a home office, and a large media room over the garage. Parsons even included two mud rooms. One is off the garage, and one leads to the backyard, behind the kitchen. If you have kids, you know this is a genius.

The fluid floor plan downstairs offers easy indoor-outdoor living with a 12-foot-wide telescoping patio door opening onto a 400-square-foot back porch. Of course, that fluid floor plan is perfectly accentuated with a stellar furniture layout. Parsons is a big believer in staging, so he brought in Rosy Sendra and Lenore LoCasio, owners of Nest and Nido, to bring this Modern Farmhouse to life.

“Our goal is to allow people to see the house,” not our furniture Sendra said. “The vision was a little Restoration Hardware, a little California,” LoCascio said. “It’s a great neighborhood, and this was a wonderful project.”

The things you don’t see are as important as those you do in this home.

Perhaps even more critical considering the climate challenges we now face. Two tankless water heaters were installed in the three-car garage. This is a brilliant move when you think about what happened during our winter storms. Two spare gas lines were installed during the build, so anyone wanting a spa and home generator already have the connections. The garage is also pre-wired for EV cars.

This Modern Farmhouse is minutes from the Arboretum and White Rock Lake in one of the most welcoming neighborhoods you will find in Dallas.

Parsons has 1509 El Campo Dr. listed for $1.985 million.
