When we heard about this listing, we jumped right on it with a thousand questions before we hit publish: Why are they moving? Where are they going? And as inquiring minds want to know: Where do they put all their stuff? Well, read on because Kameron totally spills it!

Kameron and Court Westcott will have no issues selling their 7,409 square foot, custom-built soft Mediterranean on Dartmouth Avenue in the honeypot of Highland Park.

Kameron, as you know, is one of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Dallas stars. She is a native of Montecito: the California Girl met her future husband at SMU. She is also an entrepreneur, having launched a line of organic pink dog food named Sparkle, along with her appearances on RHOD.

Husband Court Westcott is one son of the powerfully philanthropic Westcott family. Court’s father, Carl Westcott, founded Westcott LLC in 1996 as “an entrepreneurial investment platform” According to his LinkedIn, Court has been working there for the past 16 years. Interesting: Court also founded Polish, a chain of high-end nail spas in the Dallas area, which of course, has been closed for the last six weeks for the pandemic.

We’ve seen plenty of this celebrity house on episodes of RHOD. It’s spotlessly clean and engineered to keep the home that way with places to stash everyday stuff out of sight when not used. That includes a mudroom off the kitchen, a custom-built romp zone for Kam’s famous pups in the third bay of the three-car garage, and her wonderful “Pink Palace” closet.

Back on March 30, Kameron gave BravoTV.com visitors an exclusive sneak peek inside her fabulous closet when she took her kiddos swimming in the lush backyard spa for a quarantine splash, calling it the “only place we want to be right now.” Mind you, it was 57 degrees outside!

Wearing a long-sleeved, houndstooth-printed swimsuit, The Real Housewives of Dallas mom posed in her closet (you might know it as the “pink palace”) with her daughter Hilton. “Hot tub time with the princes!!” Kameron wrote, before taking Instagram followers into her resort-style backyard.

The family pool is surrounded with natural-looking boulders, and it adjoins a spacious round hot tub. Kameron’s Instagram Story offered a peek at some more patio decor, including plush lounge chairs and at a peacock-shaped pool float.

The couple bought the lot (there was a little cottage home on it) in 2008 when newly married, then hired architect Will Snyder to design a family home custom built by George Lewis The home has three stories and an elevator, which explains the spaciousness and resort-like backyard.

The listing agent is Kelli Macatee of Compass Real Estate, who has known Court since the 7th grade, when the Westcotts first moved to a 14,000 square foot Sharif & Munir chateau in Highland Park. Court’s parents, Carl and Jimmy Westcott, bought the estate that James Beckett III almost purchased as a surprise for his bride, Lake Highlands and SMU grad Diane Burgdorf, who didn’t want it. She was previously married to the late Margaret Thatcher’s son, Mark Thatcher, and lived on Fairfax Avenue in HP.

Back to Dartmouth Ave: The primary living spaces are downstairs, with a stunning all-white kitchen and attached breakfast room, a formal dining room, and a great room that overlooks the backyard. That’s where you find the retractable doors to the patio, porch, and outdoor entertaining space.

If you are looking for a first-floor master, you might be disappointed: all but one of the bedrooms are on the second floor, but again, there is an elevator.

The master suite is large, features his and her’s separate bathrooms, separate closets of course, and a second-story porch with fireplace: so romantic! All bedrooms are ensuite. The laundry room is upstairs as well as a children’s playroom and coffee bar.

But the fun floor is the basement! Here you’ll find a swank but comfortable theater, wine cellar (used for fur storage, so smart!), tasting area, wet bar, another playroom, and bedroom/bath the family uses as an exercise room but could be a guest suite. Again, every room is engineered with abundant, convenient storage.

“Every working mom and wife knows the challenge of the accumulating “stuff” of life,” says Kam. “For me, I obviously love to shop so I naturally accumulate a lot of stuff. One great thing about this house is that there is a place for everything, so I can hide my mess!”

Kameron’s famous pink office — she has said, “I was born blonde but pink by choice”— is off the main entry, and has a secret storage closet behind the pink bookshelves.

“I can throw my mess in there and no one sees it! Of course, I have to give a shout-out to our hard-working Laura who is such a huge help to me in running the house and cleaning. Especially when you are still living life and the house has to show and be ready all the time. I’ve told Kelli, ‘give me a quick heads up and we’ll all do a fire drill to get this place perfect fast! Somehow, we all seem to manage!”

Not to worry, the Westcotts are staying in the Dallas area. The Bravo star’s home is listed with Kelli Macatee of Compass for $5.125 million.

And take in these pics: The Westcotts have engaged the inimitable George Bass to stage the house to make it even more sale-able. I think it’s perfect as it is, but we are dying to come back and see George’s handiwork. Stay tuned!
