For those of you new to Texas, let me introduce you to North Texas Giving Day, which is Sept. 23, 2021. The Communities Foundation of Texas sponsors this 18-hour online event every year to support local non-profit organizations in 20 counties of North Texas on one user-friendly platform.

North Texas Giving Day was created in 2009 as an easy way to offer everyone the opportunity to give back to their favorite causes. Since its inception, over $375 million has been raised for local non-profits. Last year this event raised $58.8 million. So essentially, the North Texas Giving Day provides for one-stop giving!

Take a moment to consider your favorite historic preservation organizations when you decide where your giving will go this year. Here are a few highlights, but be sure to go to the North Texas Giving Day site for more options.
