Montgomery Plaza Condo Offers a One-of-a-Kind Opportunity

How’d you like your own private terrace at Fort Worth’s Montgomery Plaza? (Photos: Grant Wiseman)

From time to time I’ll get pushback from clients if I suggest buying a condominium instead of a townhome or single-family residence.

Much of the time the argument from the client is that most condos are all the same. A lot of buildings have similar floorplans, finishes, and styles — all of which can make a condo more challenging to resell in the future.

While there’s truth to some of that, Fort Worth seems to have a vast array of condominium projects that were once industrial or retail buildings, which in turn give each condo a unique shape, angle, or element.

But not many of them have their own private terrace to enjoy the growing Fort Worth skyline or fabulous springtime temperatures.

Montgomery Plaza was a retail building before a condo — therefore the condos all have unique features.

First Time to Market

We have featured wonderful condos within the Montgomery Plaza building numerous times over the years at Tarrant County Tuesday. It’s one of the more iconic buildings in Fort Worth and in the heart of one of the more vibrant areas of town.

How many condos have curved walls in their powder bathroom like No. 2408?

At just about any time of the day or night you can see trains going through the city, runners zipping through West 7th Street, long lines at the Chick-fil-A, shoppers, coffee drinkers, baby strollers, bike riders, and vibrant cityscape. It’s a wonderful area to people-watch for sure.

The condo is a gorgeous three-bedroom, three-and-one-half-bathroom home of over 2,700 square feet — so not your traditional small condo, that’s for sure.

The home is wide open which allows for furniture to dictate the spaces

The openness of the home and finishes are elaborate and inviting. Nothing has been overlooked in this spectacular one-of-a-kind dwelling.

Recently, the kitchen has been updated to showcase the newest, latest and greatest finishes.

The bathrooms have also been updated and the primary closet comes already equipped with a designer closet system.

Yes, that’s a huge window in the huge walk-in shower.

Might as well have a fancy closet to match the fancy condo.

But the real pièce de résistance is the private, large, unobstructed terrace that is unique to this condominium.

A firepit, a grill, and a fabulous terrace all to yourself at No. 2408.

It is too amazing to be overlooked. Condo living, 24-hour concierge, a resort-style pool, assigned parking, workout areas, media rooms, walkability around the West 7th Area, and private terrace with amazing views on a daily basis. Where can I sign?!

Don’t forget about the resort pool of Montgomery Plaza just steps away

It might be another 20 years before No. 2408 comes on the market again.

If you want the easy lock-and-leave lifestyle and want a condo that is truly unique and one-of-a-kind, check out 2600 West 7th Street No. 2408 listed by Ida Duwe-Olsen and (that guy who hangs around her with the fancy shoes, aka Ted, her husband) of Compass Real Estate for $1.229 million.
