De la Chapelle to lead LanCarte Commercial Expansion into Dallas

With almost four decades in the commercial real estate industry, many can attest to the success of Bill de la Chapelle. The Dallas resident has been at the helm of deals in his home city of Dallas, throughout the state of Texas, and even across the nation.

So, when it came time to expand LanCarte Commercial Real Estate, a Fort Worth firm that has established its own impressive record of success — albeit in a much shorter time period — knew who they wanted to lead their Dallas office.

You guessed it, de la Chapelle.

LanCarte offers brokerage services, commercial investments, and property management, and de la Chapelle excels at doing that.

“Our company was founded during a period of robust growth. I know there is no better fit to support LanCarte’s continued growth than Bill,” said Sarah LanCarte, Founder and President of LanCarte Commercial. “Working together over the years, I have seen Bill’s tenacious commitment to the genuine success of each client and his skillful ability to work collaboratively. Now, this will be an official partnership and we could not be more thrilled to welcome his expertise and experience to the LanCarte team.

“As we enter this expansion phase of our company, we know he will be a major asset.”

LanCarte founded the company in 2018, and now in its fifth year it continues to grow by prioritizing collaboration and partnership. It was that growth and success in such a short time that de la Chapelle said attracted him.

“I saw the growth and impact Sarah LanCarte was making in the industry. The dynamic leadership and team, along with the culture that has been created, attracted me to the venture,” he said.

Recent projects by de la Chapelle include:

  • Supporting a state-to-state relocation that achieved more than $20 million in cumulative savings over the course of the project.
  • Acquiring a highly competitive property in Austin against six competitive bids.
  • Securing an ideal property for an Arlington startup business whose day-to-day operations were challenging for institutional property owners and municipalities.

Sarah LanCarte will continue to guide the overall vision and operation of the firm.

“I am thankful for the opportunity to join Sarah and further support LanCarte’s clients and prospects,” de la Chapelle said.

While there is some concern in the marketplace about rising interest rates and some may consider this an unlikely time for growth, LanCarte never hesitated in the opportunity for growth and to bring de la Chapelle onboard.

“There’s no better time than now to invest and grow,” she said.

De la Chapelle agrees.

“Texas is the number one growth state in the country. The Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area is the largest in the state and one of the fastest growing areas in the country,” he said. “Although the economy suggests that storm clouds are ahead, the greatest outcomes emerge from times of the greatest adversity. The best is yet to come.”
