Beautifully LOADED Westlake Estate Will Make Everyone FLOCK to Texas!

Last week, about 7,000 real estate execs were in North Texas for the Urban Land Institute’s fall conference, a very big industry deal. Top of the talk was why so many corporations were moving to Texas.

“We decided this was a great place — it’s got all the right stuff,” David Arena, head of global real estate for JPMorgan Chase said. “When you come to Dallas, you cannot help but be impressed by the quality and caliber of the people here.”

And the caliber of the homes. There is no home that exudes value and high-caliber living more beautifully than 1750 Trace Bella Court. I mean, this home would make the most die-hard, out-of-stater move here in a nanosecond!

When I first heard about this home I was like, “Yes, another pretty street name and another tricked-up Westlake house. How many columns will it have? (Shall we take a bet?)”

Then I drove out to to see it with my own eyes: One of the most unusual homes in Westlake. Full metal roof. Smooth stone exterior with an Austin feel. Sit back and enjoy this tour. Because this is truly one for the records!

Let me tell you, if you are in the market for a $5 million Westlake estate, it would be SINFUL not to check out this house! Listed at $5,798,880 with Ebby’s Juliet Marie Williams, this home would be $20 million easy in Silicon Valley. Or Santa Barbara.

The materials are exquisite and most tasteful. The 11,248-square-foot interiors are a total shocker from what you expect to see while gazing at the exterior, and pleasantly so. This home seems more like a Montecito getaway than a family home. The floor plan and flow are completely out of the ordinary, designed to focus on the architecture as art and bring the outdoors in so much you almost lose the line of demarcation between the interior and exterior.

I guess you can tell you are inside when you feel the soft bluster of the AC on your skin. The focal point of walking into the home from the moment the front door swings open is the huge, widespread saltwater pool that falls to an infinity edge and features a (most tasteful) waterslide to the lower level pool. The floors are 125-year-old reclaimed wood plank, and the owners obviously have a love affair with Carrara marble. Most lighting fixtures are Murano glass. The entire estate backs to a huge greenbelt that will never be developed, so as you look out as if you are on a 50-acre estate, though you only have one.

Go ahead, let it take your breath away. You are still in North Texas, but it’s like you are on vacation 24/7 in this home. There is the oversized pool and two spas, entertainment for 200 on the patios, four living areas, five bedrooms (including two incredibly private guest rooms planned away from the family), five full and four half baths, a five-car garage with multiple built-ins and wash up sink, and oh yes — invite the massage therapist into the master bathroom. There is enough room for a couple’s massage.

Then there is the adult lounge, with a long marble bar, built-in banquette and seating area, overlooking and connected to the pool scape. Off this room is a safe room. I can tell you right now, that close to the bar, you will be safe.

This house is also like the White House in some ways: Upstairs is a comfortable media lounging center, for both the humans and the pets, a private family quarters upstairs while entertainment prevails below.
