We’ve told you all about it, and hope to see you there. Some of Dallas’ most significant residences are primed and ready as we get ready to honor the legacy of our beloved Ebby Halliday. And I have word that some high profile lovers of art & architecture will be at one mid century home… perhaps mulling a move?

Homes include the Hess House on Turtle Creek, the 1918 Jones House, 1931 Kimple House, 1951 Vaughn House, 1958 Cupaioli House and 1966 Newberger House.

The tour is chaired by Chris Hickman, John Weber and Bonnie Bauer of Hickman + Weber, Ebby Halliday.

General tour tickets include five houses and are $50, and patron tour tickets are $85, which includes the patron party house. Members of Preservation Dallas receive a discount and get tickets for $40 and $70, respectively.

The day begins at Central Christian Church with morning refreshments and an architectural symposium.  The discussion will timeline Dallas’ architectural and historical developments alongside Ebby’s life (1911-2015).  Mary Frances Burleson (Ebby Halliday, Realtors CEO), architect Wilson Fuqua, Dr. Evelyn Montgomery (Dallas Heritage Village Curator) and interior designer Mil Bodron are included on the panel.

The Church is located at 4711 Westside Drive.

Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m. for refreshments and the symposium.  The symposium begins at 9 a.m., and tour houses are open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.  Attendees are REQUIRED to check in at Central Christian Church.  Reservations are required and non-refundable.
