A demolition permit for the home at 4901 Live Oak was pulled earlier this month, and while the stately red brick home that sits at the corner of Live Oak and Fitzhugh still stands, the trees surrounding the home were being removed rather unceremoniously. It might be only a matter of time before this home, a place that one young couple from Brooklyn hoped to re-imagine as a dreamy wedding venue, will be razed.
After falling down the DCAD ownership rabbit hole, it appears that one of the owners with 4901 Live Oak LLC is Keller Williams Realtor Victoria Berezina. We attempted to contact Berezina for more information, though we haven’t heard back. An associate at her office said that Berezina is in Russia at the moment. We’ve also reached out to Dyn-o-Mite Demolition, but there was no answer at the business.
We’ve also reached out to the former owners, Adam and Alicia Rico of Bows and Arrows Flowers, about the demolition. Stay tuned.
