Often called the Dean of Texas Architecture, the late Frank Welch artfully expanded modernism in Texas’ landscapes, materials, and style. He had an eye for beauty and his furnishings reflect that as you can see today and Saturday at an estate sale held by Art Rousseau.

The sale will take place at 5800 Golf Drive in Highland Park.

From the description:
“The family moved to a high-rise and took quite a bit of their furniture and accessories but what they left really makes a statement. Antiques, custom carpets, artwork, china, crystal and much more means that the sale should provide fun shopping for everyone – just remember to shop and not just gaze at the house. The family moved into a unit in a prominent high-rise where Art did the probate appraisal and the private “by-appointment-only” sale so this is truly one of those moments when you say that Dallas is just getting smaller and smaller – quite a coincidence.”
