Once you’ve shed the big home and freed yourself of the pool and lawn crews, where do you go? If Downtown is too far and Bishop Arts or Deep Ellum aren’t your scene, the new luxury homes being developed in Preston Hollow Village could be the answer.

The longtime Briggs Freeman Sothebys agent-turned-Sales Director with PowerPlay Texas, Nancy Holloway is now leading the charge at The Signature Collection at Preston Hollow Village, the bustling mixed-use community at Walnut Hill Lane and Central Expressway. Nancy gave Daltxrealestate.com the exclusive scoop on this next highly-anticipated residential phase of master-planned development.

The new luxury homes offer three product types  — Classic, Courtyard and City Home Condominiums — and will be built by renowned Rosewood Preston Hollow (Rosewood Custom Builders) and designed by SHM Architects. The Signature Collection will be a brand new community located within Preston Hollow Village.

“Buyers are looking for new construction of a smaller home without compromising luxury and quality,” Holloway tells Daltxrealestate.com. “The Signature Collection at Preston Hollow Village has everything you want in a new home.”

Preston Hollow Village complements the modern, on-the-move lifestyles of its North Dallas residents — people who love and want to stay in the Preston Hollow area but are ready to trade in the big house for a low maintenance lifestyle, where you can walk to innovative restaurants, a neighborhood grocery store, superior shopping and services, and a park.

It was over a decade ago that Preston Hollow Village was a vision in the eyes of Leon Backes, Provident Realty Advisor’s Chairman and CEO. Long vacant after its 60’s era garden-style townhomes were torn down, these 42 acres have been transformed into a pedestrian-friendly promenade of dining, shopping, and office space with luxury residential. Preston Hollow Village is anchored by Trader Joes, with countless walkable dining options as well as a plaza to accommodate concerts, art shows, and farmer’s markets.

“This project is a legacy for all of us,” Leon says. “Our vision for this community was to really raise the bar in terms of design quality and level of execution. We want this to be a source of pride for everyone involved—not just today, but when future generations make their homes here. Decades from now, I hope my grandkids can still be proud of what we created.”

Principal architect Enrique Montenegro of Dallas-based SHM Architects calls it, “Contemporary construction that respects its location.” Provident, SHM, and the Rosewood team are the masters behind these smartly-designed homes with light-filled rooms, tall ceilings, and elegant living.

For over 35 years, Rosewood Custom Builders has built quality custom homes in Preston Hollow, the M-Streets, Park Cities, Lakewood, and the surrounding areas. They are well-regarded for their commitment to professionalism and attention to detail.

“We are putting the same level of quality and finishes into these homes as we do into our Preston Hollow custom homes,” says Luc Dauwe, President and Co-Founder of Rosewood Preston Hollow. “All the little luxuries — Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances, European Oak floors, Brizo and Kohler fixtures — and most importantly, maintaining the grand scale of all the living, entertaining and sleeping spaces, we’ve brought all of those details to this project. These houses will live like Preston Hollow homes, ”

To round out the team, internationally acclaimed Studio Outside Landscape Architects, who designed the Northpark courtyard and the Eagle Family Plaza at the Dallas Museum of Art, will design the landscaping for the entire neighborhood and the individual homes. “Landscape tells an important story,” Holloway says. The lushness and variety of the landscaping plan is something not yet seen in any new Dallas developments.
