Don’t Miss The First Uptown Condo Auction at The Tower Residences at Ritz Carlton

We have always loved the auction business here at Daltxrealestate.com. Years ago, when I first started covering real estate, I immediately jumped in to cover real estate auctions and to learn everything about them. We predicted that auctions would rise in frequency as they began to be the most expeditious way to sell a property that was either remote, had languished on the market perhaps because it was either over-priced, or a highly specialized/specialized home.

Unit 202 at the Tower Residences at The Ritz Carlton, 2555 North Pearl Street is none of those. It is a fabulously beautiful unit, well-located in the Towers, and well-endowed with four bedrooms, four bathrooms plus two powder rooms, every inch swathed in elegant materials and custom finishes. At 4,256 square feet, unit 202 is really two units in one neat package.

But off to auction it goes on June 23, with ZERO minimum bid. Bidding will be held June 23–25 via Concierge Auctions’ online marketplace, ConciergeAuctions.com, allowing buyers to bid digitally from anywhere in the world.

“It’s more like a luxurious estate with zero maintenance than an Uptown condominium,” says the owner, Kyle Crews, President of Allie Beth URBAN and Executive Vice President of Allie Beth Allman & Associates. “The second-floor setting is surrounded by lush greenery and offers views of the resort-style pool and courtyard below.”

Personally, I prefer lower-level condos: less elevator time, softer breezes. What makes this residence unique, and one of the main reasons Crews and his wife, Anne, fell in love with the property, is the large terrace, evoking more of a single-family home feel.

“Waking up to a cup of coffee overlooking the spa and those lush trees — especially in these times — has been magically calming,” added Crews. “We will miss it.”

Of course, it’s equipped with the standard high-end features found in every Ritz residence, namely the full gourmet kitchen with top of the line appliances — including a wine cooler — custom cabinetry, and exquisite stone finishes. It also has beautifully appointed bathrooms with platinum hardware and Kalista fixtures and floor-to-ceiling glass windows that filter sunlight to every corner of the house.

Two serene master suites with private spa baths beckon. Totally spoil your guests with a full guest suite unto themselves: custom closets and full dressing rooms.

The flooring materials are highest quality throughout: gleaming marble plus custom hardwoods. And there is storage: four auto bays in the Residence garage — your car will always be brought to the front door unless you say otherwise. There are also lower-level climate-controlled storage rooms.

You also get the benefit of the property’s resort-style amenities that make it a virtual year-round vacation: the five-star Ritz-Carlton hotel, spa, and Fearing’s Restaurant; resident lounge and conference room; and complimentary valet. Imagine take-out from Fearings a few steps away during shelter-in-place!

This home has a listing value of $3.45 million. Crews, one of the most savvy luxury agents in town, says he made a strategic decision to auction his home from the start, because he is serious about selling and has long observed the prowess of Concierge’s aggressive online marketing. Since its inception in 2008, the firm has generated billions of dollars in
sales, broken world records for the highest-priced homes ever achieved at auction, and is active in 40 U.S. states/territories and 29 countries.

“I’ve partnered with Concierge Auctions as the listing agent on a number of properties over the last few years, incorporating their successful auction platform into my own selling strategy for clients of unique, high-end properties ” says Crews. “Some were difficult properties, but the company’s extensive world-wide marketing platform brought in clients and ultimately, buyers, from everywhere.”

Crews recalls successfully selling a pricey gentlemen’s ranch in East Texas through Concierge, and how Concierge lured a buyer from Toronto, Ontario to buy the former Bo Pilgrim estate in Pittsburgh, Texas, a one-of-a kind. The buyer, very much like many post-Covid real estate buyers of today, bought Cluckingham Palace for cash, sight unseen.

He says the traffic Concierge has drummed in his home has been active: at least 11 interested parties since the property was lite at the end of May.

“We knew that bringing our own property to auction was not only the smart choice, but the best choice to enable us to sell on our timeline,” he added.

“We’re pleased to partner once again with Concierge Auctions. Our track record together in the Dallas area is impressive,” says Sanders Avrea of the URBAN team. “A merger of two units in one, Unit 202 at the Ritz Carlton Residences, offers the best of city living with all the luxury of resort amenities — and space that is truly one-of-a-kind. You simply can’t ask for more at this prestigious building in such a highly-sought-after Uptown Dallas address.”

Unit No. 202 at 2555 North Pearl Street is available for showings daily by appointment, virtual open houses, and for private virtual showings.
As part of Concierge Auctions’ Key for Key® giving program in partnership with Giveback Homes, the closing will result in a new home built for a family in need. Giveback Homes was started by Dallas’ own Blake Andrews.

Concierge Auctions offers a commission to the buyers’ representing real estate agents. For more information, including property details, exclusive virtual tour, diligence documents, and more, visit ConciergeAuctions.com or call 212-202-2940.
