The first thing you notice about 3309 Centenary, this smooth-lined Mediterranean beauty, is the doubly huge Park Cities lot — 140 by 150, since it was two 70 by 150 lots knitted together. Knitting together lots seems to be a trend on Centenary, by the way. The huge half acre creates a splendid setting and room for a much larger home. Amazingly, this home was built in 2005, just as transitional was becoming vogue. You enter the home into an exquisite foyer flanked by a striking staircase, and the dining room. Definitely Mediterranean in flavor, you can tell that the home has a California inspiration — the current owners divide their time between Dallas and CA. I think this is a perfect home for blended families, either a his and her’s situation or a May-December deal where there are younger children as well as teens or tweens. Then again, the split functionality would serve itself well to in-laws living in the home, or aging parents.
