Centurion American is breaking ground for the Mercer Crossing Boardwalk, a collection of retail stores and restaurants located in Farmers Branch.
“We’re excited to break ground on this piece of Mercer Crossing, which will be a great addition to the dining and retail landscape in Farmers Branch,” Mehrdad Moayedi, president and CEO of Centurion American Development Group, said in a press release.

Mercer Crossing is a multi-phase development of single-family and multi-family homes and office space spanning 370 acres near the intersection of Luna Road and 635. The development includes 975 homesites, including 282 townhomes and 693 single-family homes on spacious 40’, 50’, and 60’ lots as well as 1,700 luxe apartments and independent living units. Builders include Ashton Woods, Beazer Homes, First Texas Homes, Gehan Homes, Megatel, New Synergy, and Taylor Morrison. In addition, there are approximately 100,000 square feet of office space, several amenity centers, ample open space, and walking paths.

The southern part of the development will be home to the Mercer Crossing Boardwalk where five signature dining concepts including the popular Primo’s MX Kitchen & Lounge, Sfereco, and others that are anticipated to open by early-2022. The original Primo’s location reopened on Dallas’ McKinney Avenue in Uptown last year, followed by locations at Dallas’ Statler Hotel — a Centurion American re-development and in Preston Hollow at Hillcrest and Northwest Highway. An additional Primo’s outpost is planned to open in Flower Mound’s River Walk development this spring, another Centurion development.
